This is one of the nicest courses I've played in a very long time. The grounds-crew had it in "Augusta-Like" condition...in late March!
The layout was fair. There wasn't any part of any hole that I said "Oh, come on..." I just really liked it a lot. I'd go back any time I'm in NC and able to play.

I go to Myrtle Beach for a week every other year with my favorite 4 some and it is the only one we play every time we go there.It is always in good shape no mater what time of year and the only gripe I have is its lack of a good range.

Agree with the previous opinions. This is considered by many to be the best course in Myrtle. I think it's my favorite. They also have an excellent deal for a same-day replay at their sister course True Blue which is also very nice.
We stay at Barefoot on our trips and it's a hike to get to Caledonia but well worth the drive.
BTW, if you're down that way, there's an excellent Italian restaurant called Finnochio's.

I'm not a long hitter, but this course is definitely best played from the tips. the course isn't overly long, and there are numerous holes that play 'too short' from the forward tees. Conditions are the best in the region, and the layout is great fun. It's the sort of course you could happily play week in, week out and never get bored.
