Not meant to be a Jackamo thread - but I am curious. I carry - that is on the person. 1.  a ball mark/repair tool that I clip to my pocket. 2.  a coin (barbados $1) to use to mark any one else's ball - if it saves time. 3.  about 14 tees - I break them easily - end up with about 5 that are salvageable at the end of the round. 4.  1 extra ball. 5.  scorecard - in a card wallet and about $5 to cover a drink from the drink 'babe' or at the turn. I have some folks carry so much stuff that they don't know what to do - or can't find a marker - conversely I have seen a guy go looking for his ball on a cart path only course, lose it, run back to the cart for another ball, then not have the right club run back again, and so on. Funny and sad in the same breath.

....1...cell phone....2...laptop so I can post at the Lesson Tee Forum at GO if a swing problem arises during a round.....:D Seriously, I carry a divot tool, usuall about 4-6 tees and 2-3 balls in my pockets, and also have my glove in a pocket while putting.  I just mark the ball with whatever change I have in my pocket....no superstitions here....not yet anyway. I usually ride, so all other stuff, scorecards, more tees/balls, extra pencils, cell phone (which I try not to bring on the course, but sometimes need to for family or business-related issues), keys, water, drinks, what have you, are in the cart and/or my Ogio cart bag. I do keep my $$ in a money clip in a front pocket in case the drink cart or "beer girl" as they're referred to here shows up and I'm not near the cart.

To clarify, I meant strictly on your person. Not what is in the bag, nor the cart etc. Strictly stuff you cram in the pockets of your shorts or trousers, your shirt, shove in your socks or well, ummm, errrr, anyplace you stick stuff - but only the stuff that is in your pockets. Me, everthing is in the rt front pants pocket but the card - that is in the right rear. That was kinda where I was going about the doofus who was trotting back and forth -  GOSH I HATE CART PATH ONLY COURSES!  there seems to be no way to finish in under 6 hours - that is when golf is NOT FUN!

A few tees (never counted until there are none), some coins for marking the ball, a divot tool, whatever folding money I have, and a small pocketknife.  Don't remember ever using the pocketknife for golf, but it always there anyway the same as for non-golf.  Usually have an extra ball in the pocket if riding and it's cart-path only.

I don't like a lot of "stuff" in my pockets while I play so I keep a bare minimum: Right front pocket- pencil 1 short tee 1 long tee my ball marker (Mexican Peso - the best - has both silver and bronze color) Left front pocket- 1 extra short tee 1 extra long tee ball impact fixer 1 extra ball marker (simple plastic one) Back right pocket- Scorecard Pin sheet Thats it.   Everything else (wallet, etc.) is in the bag. Absolutely nothing. Everything is taken out of my pockets and placed in my bag. I've played with my wallet in my back pocket and won't ever do it again. Accidentally left my keys in my left front pocket on my initial tee shot and won't ever do that again. I keep nothing in my pockets. If I need anything it will take me less than 30 seconds to dig in my bag and get it.

Last week I wore long pants (anywhere, not just the course) for the first time in 9 months but I only feel comfortable in one favorite pair of shorts that I wear for golf. Problem is the pocket liners all have holes except for one pocket and a small hole in another. As a result every time I go to get my ball marker in a small pocket that is hard to access it looks like I'm deliberately taking a long time as if begging for a gimmee.

Extra ball, a few tees, a divot repair tool and a couple coins.  Pretty simple.  No superstitions.  Those items could be in either front pocket or mixed.

rf: tees (however many I grabbed out of the bag at #1 tee) and divot repair tool with magnetic coin removed and in lf: with a couple of extra tees that somehow migrated from rf.  I never can figure out how they get there. Used to try to keep long tees in one pocket and short in the other, but I confuse easily... :D
