It is summertime in Great Britain, and the Open Championshiip will be going to one of the toughest tests in golf. So many questions to be answered! Will Tiger keep on the comeback trail? How will Phil's putter hold up? And who will win the GO British Open Pool?
The annual GO British Open Pool will be very familiar to all of you who played in the GO Majors Pools in previous years. Please read rule number 2 very carefully!!!! DA RULES!!!!
1. Everyone is welcome to play.
2. Make your selections here in this thread. THEY MUST BE IN THE FORMAT DESCRIBED BELOW - YOUR GO NICKNAME FOLLOWED BY A COMMA, THEN YOUR 14 PICKS - EACH OF WHICH MUST BE SEPARATED BY A COMMA!!! Please use the number for the player selection you want, not the name. You must pick names from those listed below, in the amounts from each category as listed below, no substitutions are allowed. We are not responsible for typos or mistakes or other errors!! **Here is an example of EXACTLY how to make your selections in your post: CTGolfFan, 2, 6, 11, 13, 20, 23, 27, 35, 41, 46, 52, 55, 62, 66
3. Select players from each group as instructed, a total of 14. The winners are determined by totaling your top 8 players 4 day totals (72 holes). To qualify to win, you must have at least 8 players make the 36 hole cut. Ties will be broken with victory going to the member by a scorecard playoff, comparing the lowest score picked between players, and so on. The players below are on the list at BritishOpen.com. Any player withdrawals or other line up changes since July 10 are your responsiblity to track.
4. Please have all your picks into this thread no later than 12:00 am edt, Thursday July 19, 2007 (that's midnight between Wednesday and Thursday). You may make as many changes or edits as you wish up until then. Oh, and please - only one post in the thread - edit your first thread, don't post an additional one.
5. All decisions by the GO staff are final, even if they are grossly negligent, unfair or biased. Bribing a GO official is despicable....but allowed.... Kudos to the top 3 winners! Good luck to all. ____________________________________________
