Why do I hate Poulter so much?

04 October 2010 - 09:09 AM

I used to like the guy, but now every time I see a pic of him with some arrogant look on his face I want to punch him in that face.  Just a random thought on a Monday morning.

Last post is 3 days ago.  This site has really hit the skids.  Wanted to see what people thought of Rickie Fowler's last two rounds.  I checked ESPN, but they seem too be all over TW and how him making the cut is such a huge story.  Can somebody refresh on why or how GO died?

Goosen's distance

26 March 2010 - 11:10 AM

Anybody else catch it last week when the announcers stated that Retief has lost a bunch of distance in the last couple years.  They said he is hitting his driver about 265 right after being outdriven by Furyk by a few yards.  Just out of curiousity I check him this week and he is 2nd overall in driving distance.  WTF?  305 yesterday and 315 today.  Do these guys change equipment that much and does it make that much of a difference?  That's 40 or 50 yards longer than last week. I looked at his swing last week and thought "how is he not hitting it 300 anymore?".  His swing to me looked better and more powerful than it ever has.  Oh well, just random thoughts on a boring Friday morning.

TW 2 shots back. It's over.

Do you ever think it will get this bad?  I mean, if he is within 2 or 3 shots to start on Sunday, do we really think he is not going to win?  I made the mistake of thinking he just didn't have it last week after the first couple rounds.  When you start hearing people say he is a lock, you can pretty much just say best ever.

Most impressive Playing Lesson.

12 January 2008 - 06:19 PM

I saw a couple new ones today on TGC.  They were David Toms and Zach Johnson.  While both were impressive in their own right, I still think the one with Justin Leonard is my all time favorite.  He just drains putts in that lesson.  I don't know the official score, but it seemed like he birdied 4 in a row to start or at least 4 out of 5.  The one with David Toms today was pretty good too.  He strikes the ball so pure and has just awesome rythm in his swing.  What is your all time favorite or most impressive? My least favorite or least impressive has to be Chi Chi Rodriguez, Craig Stadler or Rocco Mediate.  They played like me  ;D
