Cleveland DSG Need comments

22 August 2007 - 09:27 PM

Just received a 56 DSG as a gift.  Haven't seen many reviews/posts with my search.  How does it compare to the regular 588?  How does it play from the fairway/sand ?

Craz-e Inserts

09 April 2007 - 07:07 PM

I've been using the G2 since it came out.  I've heard some say they like the insert of the G5 better.  Anyone have any experience with both?  Worth a change?

3 Wood Shafting Help

22 January 2007 - 05:23 PM

I am currently in the process of reshafting a TaylorMade 200 Series 3 wood. My swing speed is around 100 mph, but I need some shafting advice. I have decided on a Grafalloy Blue shaft, but need advice as to whether stiff or regular flex would be best for both trajectory and control. Also, what length is most popular with a similar clubhead/shaft combination. I have heard that 43" is the standard.  Finally, which end is usually trimmed, the butt end or the tip end. Thanks. PJL

Grip size on Wilson Kirk Currie putters

Looks like these are oversized.  Anyone out there like the stock grip?  Can they be changed easily?

New putter question

03 September 2006 - 06:30 PM

After a summer of so so putting, I'm considering a change to a new putter, and am looking fo a little feedback r/t my next purchase. As a right handed player that is left eye dominant, I've been told that I should be using a puter that has little offset, and perhaps one that is center shafted. I'm not sure if I am a straight back-through putter, or use a version of the open-clase gate (how do you tell for sure?) As I learn more about face balance/toe balance, toe hang, offset etc. I'm a little confused r/t how I should make my choice. Suggestions appreciated.
