In Topic: What fairway woods are in your bag?

Had a Nike T-40 tour 15* with a DGS300 and it was a solid club but had trouble off the deck. I replaced it with a TM 200 Tour 15* Ridge Top with a Purple ice 85S and it is in the bag to stay.  For now :)

I have a 9.5 R5 TP Tour head (with Tour Serial #) with the Tour "Hot Melt" treatment.  Club has a Diamana Blueboard ION shaft in X flex. 45" with GP Dual Durometer Mid Grip.  Club is Mint and has seen Very Little play.  It comes with the Factory Magnetic Headcover R5 TP headcover and a 10 and 2 weight installed. In Topic: Tiger's Putter Cover

26 July 2006 - 10:44 AM

The putter is a one off Custom GSS Newport 2 style.  He has changed one time since he started using the GSS and soon went back to the 1st one and has not changed since.  Scotty had made multiple copies for him and none have been used as TW states that they don't feel the same.   There is a story about Scotty bringing a putter to TW and Tiger setting it down on the ground and looking at it for 2 seconds and telling that the specs were off.  Scotty took it out to remeasure the spec and it was off by ½ a degree.  Scotty fixed it and took it back to TW with a look of amazment and TW just smiled. If the Titleist FW wood was replaced I would not bet against the putter although it would take an awful good one to switch. IMHGO
