I play an Adams Idea Pro 20º in place of a 3-iron. This club not only flies far higher than a 3-iron with a larger sweetspot, but it also extracts the ball from light rough and fairway bunkers with ease. I can rely on this club for a high draw that goes about 200 yards consistently. I had Adams install a True Temper GT shaft from the factory, and while the club has a heavy feel, it does what I ask of it.
