I think these are a fantastic iron for beginners, as well as golfers with a few years under their belt, that want to have a forgiving club that allows them to "work" shots when they need to. They aren't free, but well worth the investment if you are searching for a club that you won't have to replace next year when the "new stuff" comes out.
